It took half an hour to get the db server out of the dmz in between blaster attacks.
We're patching now...

The new db server was moved into the dmz accidentally without having been patched.
We're being swarmed.

The
old database got locked up on a runaway process and we were hit by
another SYN attack. We were down for at least an hour. Everything's
back.

It looks like the upgrades took. I'm not
planning on any more server reboots so if everything holds together we
shouldn't have any more outtages tonight.

Um... no idea what i did to my webpage, writings.bloghorn.com , but i'm having problem logging in, with the login button not seeming to work. Can you please help me correct it? Really sorry for the trouble.
