I didn't know you had a PA store. The wife is always the last to know.

in the several months that i have had the store, i have only had three people buy things. i knew who two of them were. the other was some random person who found the store site. each person only bought one item. which means that cafe press is still holding onto that 75 cents that i have earned.

    everyone's got one. mine's here

i was a little bummed out that the most you can charge is $99.99 though. it'd be cool to set the price to 1 MILLION dollars. you know, just in case...

Everyone does it. Come on. Don't be shy.

wha? How? I want a store too!

Wait a sec? I thought this was Ko's. Who the fuck is Karl Fuchi? And is that Karl in the pictures?
Submitted by maemidwest at 10/22/2002 9:50:53 PM
I think that is Ko's nom de plume.
Submitted by sam at 10/22/2002 10:06:32 PM
ko has a lot of nom's.

I have a cafe store too:

Its a shirt that says "Makes passes at girls who wear glasses" because chicks with glasses are sweet and hot, and there are some foolish men who ignore them. Which is a shame, but it means more hot glasses-wearing chicks for me. :)

WOOHOO, let's hear it for girls in glasses! We somewhat blind women of the world thank you, Sam.
Submitted by drew at 10/23/2002 12:17:13 AM
If I had my own store I would have a shirt that says:

"Just ask yourself if you can do any better..."

    or

"I like girls cause they're soft."

I guess it's easy enough to get a store. It doesn't cost anything. I might join the bandwagon this week, once I think of cool stuff. I wonder if you can put it on your resume????
Submitted by christy at 10/23/2002 8:29:44 AM
Ben, I think I'd buy a tee-shirt that had the "evil ben" picture on it. It would have to have a caption, too.

"Men seldom make passes at girls that wear glasses".
    -- Dorothy Parker

but my favorite of her's is:

"I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy".

or better yet, when asked to make a sentence using the work 'horticulture' she replied:

"You can lead a whore to culture, but you can't make her think".

You know, maybe the the theme of my store would be ripping off the great lines from other people's blogs. I would even give them credit (but no money). At least I wouldn't have to think.

i usually make passes at girls that wear glasses.
especially if they're the kind that look like they have no self-esteem or a dead end life.
because while some people want a companion that is gorgeous, debonaire, and captivating, i am much too insecure to be with someone of that charismatic calibur.
i need a girl who i know isn't going anywhere and isn't going to be anything.

"stealing from one person is plagiarism. Stealing from many is bloggging." --unknown.

I think I found that on like blogsticker.com or something.
Submitted by christy at 10/23/2002 10:42:38 AM
Ooh, leesa, that could be my first one! It's even sort of meta-plagerizing. And there's nothing bloggers like more than meta-stuff.

Not that it matters in this case but the actual quote is:
"Copy from one, it's plagiarism; copy from two, it's research."
    === Wilson Mizner

Just keeping everyone informed of the useless info of the world.

For some reason I always heard it as
"I'd rather have a free bottle in front of me than a prefrontal lobotomy"

"We find comfort among those who agree with us -- growth among those who don't."

"Good sex is like good Bridge. If you don't have a good partner, you'd better have a good hand." Said by the great, Mae West. Followed by the great Mae Midwest, who now has a really good partner. Ta DOW!

I'm probably going to go with "Quantum Metaphysics: 'One's real life is often the life that one does not lead'." I MIGHT credit Wilde, then again, I might not.

I'm also having a pinging issue -- when I ping (and I use firefox) I have to log in, ping, go to the main page, log in again, and ping again.

market at mcknight is mostly empty. don't imagine that's going to change anytime soon with the current economy. they should have left the neighborhood there.

Before the outage, I never had to re-login from the computers I use most often. I don't think I entered a password for months. Now I have to login everytime before I can ping. Maybe its a different symptom of the same issue?

Ever since that "mostly dead" incident, I have to log out then log back in every time I want to ping. Is this happening to anyone else, or just me?
