I noticed that joe's lunch post was 99, so I had to hurry up and post something so I could be all special and everything. Yeah, right. So anyway, where ARE we going Saturday night. Lots of stuff thrown around, no decisions made that I've seen. I need answers people!

Oh THAT really helps, that narrows it down to what, a dozen or more places? Gee, what a BIG help that was!!! :P (yes, that was sarcasm, don't get pissed. I seem to have pissed of enough people already this week.)

freddy, just for the record, I wasn't pissed. :) I was just trying to explain why I suggest city places.

Leesa: I know you weren't pissed, and I agree with your reasons. I like supporting city places sometimes too. The pissed people were at the party Saturday night, they didn't like my journal entry the next day.
Submitted by leesa at 11/12/2002 1:03:00 PM
aaahhh. :) Good. I don't like pissing people off. Unless it's KoMoticon. Then, it's no holds barred, man.
Submitted by drew at 11/12/2002 1:05:09 PM
Leesa, you're under the impression that anyone cares enough about your opinion to get pissed off at you...

Submitted by Mae Midwest at 11/12/2002 1:10:06 PM
So Cybr makes 3. I assume Angeline and Elaine make 4 and 5. Sorry, just going into social coordinator mode to make this easier on the person who calls to make reservations for Saturday night.
Submitted by drew at 11/12/2002 1:12:54 PM
I might be there, not sure.

Drew should consider himself lucky that I am an excellent swordswoman. Otherwise, he'd be singing soprano right now.

I would second Drew's "who knows" gesture but I'm partial to my hands and I've already spent one night of my life licking shots off the bar.

So, that said, maybe. If I still like Freddy at the end of the week.
Submitted by Mae Midwest at 11/12/2002 1:47:37 PM
Yeah but you still can't hold a drink!

i have GOT to start reading slower. i thought christy just said she spent one night of her life licking shorts on a bar. and then i reread it and thought it said she spent one night of her life licking shit off a bar. but on the final pass, i realized that she said that she had licked shots off the bar. it was a rather anticlimactic end to the reading.

anyway, count me as #11. because 11 rocks.
Submitted by Mae Midwest at 11/12/2002 2:15:41 PM
Ko, as my mother, Marge in Charge would say, 11 is a very spiritual number. Becuase it adds up to 22 and 22 is also very spirtual. I think my mother is taking the whole, "Rocky Mountain High" thing a little too literally.

I'm glad STL isn't going to be that cold this weekend. It's supposed to be raining/snow showering in Lexington on Sunday. IT'S ONLY NOVEMEBER!!! Maybe I should buy a pack of chilis and sprinkle them all over my patio. Think that will work?
Submitted by christy at 11/14/2002 9:48:23 AM
Speaking of...did we ever decide on a venue--you know, in case I wanna go?

    Christy: CWE. I'm thinking Dressels.

I'm glad STL isn't going to be that cold this weekend.

Um, did you realize that the high on Saturday is supposed to be 38? Some people would consider that cold. Not me, but some people. Of course, Sunday is supposed to be in the mid 40s, *much* warmer.
Submitted by freddyferret at 11/14/2002 11:28:14 AM
By the way, Dressels works for me too.

Heh, I saw Mae at the gym last night. She looks totally different there. *tee-hee-hee*
Submitted by asoon at 11/14/2002 1:58:56 PM
Mae, I grant you full admin rights to plan the dressels gathering this saturday.

By the way, the gym that you go to, it has kickboxing classes? How much? How often? What about spinning classes?
Submitted by Mae Midwest at 11/14/2002 2:12:01 PM
OH MAN! I thought that was you coming out of the locker room, Cybr! When class was over, I went upstairs to find you, but couldn't so then I thought maybe I was imagining things. You wussed out of kickboxing class! Next time, no excuses! And yeah, of course I look different. I'm not some stupid ninny chick that does her hair or wears makeup to the gym. I am there to kick ass, not parade around in a beauty contest. However, Cybr you looked real pretty in that sweatshirt. hahahaha. Yikes my worlds are colliding again!

Angeline, I will email you gym details.
Submitted by cybr at 11/14/2002 2:21:40 PM
I didn't mean it in a derogatory manner! I just meant totally different. I got there about 5:40 and left at 6:45.
Submitted by cybrbuffLOL at 11/14/2002 2:22:46 PM
Angeline, it's expensive. Just warning you now.
Submitted by drew at 11/14/2002 2:23:17 PM
    um...spinning classes?
Submitted by asoon at 11/14/2002 2:24:45 PM
Do I have to pay for the entire gym membership? Or can I do it on a per type of class basis?
Submitted by cybrpunk at 11/14/2002 2:31:23 PM
Unless they changed it you have to get a membership and then the classes are part of your membership fees. I pay almost nothing to keep my membership but I've had it forever....
Submitted by rev_matt at 11/14/2002 2:31:38 PM
Drew, when I first heard of spinning classes (mind you we were living in Colorado and I grew up not far from Berkeley) I just imagined a bunch of deadheads out in a field spinning around.

Apparently it has something to do with stationary cycles.
Submitted by cybrpunk at 11/14/2002 2:32:51 PM
    ???

I thought you got to use 'Sit n Spins'
    How disappointing....

I'm also having a pinging issue -- when I ping (and I use firefox) I have to log in, ping, go to the main page, log in again, and ping again.

Before the outage, I never had to re-login from the computers I use most often. I don't think I entered a password for months. Now I have to login everytime before I can ping. Maybe its a different symptom of the same issue?

Ever since that "mostly dead" incident, I have to log out then log back in every time I want to ping. Is this happening to anyone else, or just me?
